Last night I made a double-batch of Chex® Mix. The nice thing about making it myself is that I get to make it the way I like - no nuts, no Wheat Chex, and double the seasoning sauce. I added Cheerios® and a dash of Tabasco® too.
Today I baked a small loaf of bread. I did this so I could have the perfect sandwich for lunch. I picked up some chicken spread from Lunds. It's my second favorite chicken spread. I needed bread that was just the right combination of crusty outside, soft inside. Most store bought stuff is too dry. I ate the whole loaf

It's spring, and the warm carries the scent of Lilac. Often I will put a sprig of Lilac flowers in my car to make it smell nice. As a kid, I remember sucking the pollen out of lilac flowers for fun. gotmoof loves me. He brought me home some post-holiday sale Peeps. Roasting them over an open flame makes them the crème brûlée of roasted marshmallows. They're almost too good for the likes of S'mores.
